In accordance with Section 206 of the Municipal Government Act the Council of the Municipality of Yarmouth intends to hold a Public Hearing to consider amending its Land Use By-law.
The amendment to Zoning Map Schedule F of the Land Use By-law to rezone PID 90169830, located 412 Chegoggin Point Road from Rural Development (RD) to Marine Industrial (MI) for the purpose of constructing a lobster holding facility. A sketch of the subject property is shown below.
The amendment is available and may be viewed by interested persons between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Mondays to Fridays excluding holidays at the Yarmouth Municipal Office, 932 Highway 1 in Hebron.
The Public Hearing of Council will be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 932 Highway 1 in Hebron, beginning at 6:00 pm on Wednesday September 22, 2021. Any written submission concerning the proposed amendment should be submitted to the Municipal Office at least two days before the Public Hearing.
