*****Municipality seeking new tenant for Hebron Business Park*****

Municipal Council is seeking a tenant, and more importantly a new employer, to lease space at 62 Rcom Drive. The Council for the Municipality of Yarmouth has been informed that the Group will be winding down operations in the Hebron Business Park by mid-2020. A valued employer for over 18 years, has provided employment opportunities for residents from Digby, Yarmouth and Shelburne Counties. Offering competitive wages, training, active living and a variety of other opportunities to their staff, has lead by example among employers.

The Council is optimistic that the collaborative efforts with, NSBI and the NS Department of Business will lead to a new firm, in the same sector who is looking to hire our very talented workforce, locating in the Hebron Business Park.

Commenting about the decision taken by, Warden Leland Anthony stated, “ has contributed in many ways to our community over the years and has created a talented, highly skilled and loyal workforce. We are disappointed by their decision to leave the Municipality of Yarmouth. We are actively seeking a new tenant for the space.”

We are committed to working with the Municipality of Yarmouth to find a new tenant that can leverage the talent base.” currently employs 198 people and is the flagship tenant in the Hebron Business Park. Council are taking an innovative approach to partnership with prospective new firm(s) who may seek to lease the municipally owned building at 62 Rcom Dr.
